Run Ruidoso 2026

The Run Ruidoso 2026 race series returns with seven unique running events hosted by the Village of Ruidoso Parks & Recreation. Spanning the outdoor running season, the series highlights Ruidoso’s scenic mountain setting, diverse trail systems, and welcoming community spirit. From forested paths to village routes, Run Ruidoso offers races for all experience levels while celebrating the area’s active, outdoor lifestyle.

Individuals who finish all Run Ruidoso 2026 events will receive a $100 gift card for Bluebird Running Company with additional participant prizes for those who complete more than three races.

Kick off spring at the 2026 Easter Bunny Run on Saturday, April 4 at Cedar Creek Trails in Ruidoso. This annual 7:00 AM run/walk welcomes all ages and fitness levels. Registration is $25, with online sign-up preferred. In-person registration begins at 5:45 AM at the Campground Parking Lot. Kick off Independence Day with the Run White & Blue 5K on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Part of the Run Ruidoso 2026 race series, this festive street-course run starts at 10:00 AM and winds through Wingfield, Carrizo Canyon, and Grindstone. All ages welcome. Join the 12th annual Ruidoso Grindstone Trail Runs on August 22, 2026, at Wingfield Park in downtown Ruidoso. Choose from a 13.8-mile Half Marathon Heavy, 8.5-mile, 4-mile, or Kids’ Dash. Enjoy scenic mountain trails, commemorative swag, free race photos, and a post-race party supporting All-Season Adaptive Sports.

The 2nd Annual Ruidoso RunFest takes place September 18–19, 2026, bringing runners and visitors together for a festive weekend in downtown Ruidoso.
