Join the Ruidoso Community for the John Ashcraft Memorial Family Trail Run

Come together at Grindstone Lake on April 25, 2026, to honor the life and legacy of John Ashcraft, a beloved member of the Ruidoso and Ruidoso Downs communities. This special event supports the John Ashcraft Memorial Scholarship, benefiting graduating seniors in our area.

Organized in partnership with the Community Foundation of Lincoln County, the 2026 JJohn Ashcraft Memorial Family Trail Run – 5K & 1K is proudly presented by Happy Hiker and offers a scenic 2-mile trail around Grindstone Lake. The run begins at 9:00 AM.

Entry proceeds go directly to the scholarship fund.
