Kick off your Fourth of July in Ruidoso with the Run White & Blue 5K, happening Saturday, July 4, 2026, with a 10:00 AM start at Wingfield Park.

Part of the Run Ruidoso 2026 race series, this festive street-course 5K takes runners and walkers through scenic sections of Wingfield, Carrizo Canyon, and Grindstone—an energizing way to celebrate Independence Day while experiencing Ruidoso’s mountain setting and community spirit.

The event is designed to be welcoming and fun for all ages and abilities, making it a great option for families, casual participants, and seasoned runners alike. Participants are encouraged to bring nonperishable food donations to support the Lincoln County Food Bank (monetary donations are not being collected).

Whether you’re visiting for the holiday or celebrating close to home, the Run White & Blue 5K offers a lively, feel-good start to a day full of Fourth of July festivities.
