The Village of Ruidoso is proud to host IRONMAN® 70.3 Ruidoso on July 11-12, 2026, welcoming athletes, families, volunteers, and spectators for an unforgettable weekend in the mountains of southern New Mexico.
Whether you’re racing, cheering on a competitor, or soaking up the excitement, IRONMAN® 70.3 Ruidoso combines elite endurance competition with Ruidoso’s scenic mountain setting, vibrant Midtown district, outdoor recreation, and welcoming community.
Athletes will take on a challenging high-elevation course featuring a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride, and 13.1-mile run through spectacular mountain landscapes and village streets beneath Sierra Blanca. Throughout the weekend, spectators can enjoy the festival atmosphere while exploring local shops, restaurants, trails, parks, and attractions.
