Part of the 2026 Run Ruidoso Series — one of six signature races celebrating Ruidoso’s trails, terrain, and community.
Celebrate over a decade of trail running in the cool mountain air at the Ruidoso Grindstone Trail Runs—one of six signature races in the 2026 Run Ruidoso Series. A beloved summer tradition, this event blends challenging terrain, community spirit, and a festive finish. With four race options, including a kids’ dash, it welcomes seasoned trail runners, first-timers, and spectators alike.
Since 2014, the Grindstone Trail Runs have been proudly supported by the Village of Ruidoso, Lincoln County, and the U.S. Forest Service. Proceeds benefit All-Season Adaptive Sports, supporting outdoor recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Over $60,000 has been donated in the past eleven years.
