Join a nationwide effort to keep communities clean, green, and beautiful right here in Ruidoso. As part of the annual Great American Cleanup—one of the country’s largest community improvement programs—you’re invited to spend an afternoon making a meaningful impact alongside fellow volunteers.
Hosted by Keep Ruidoso Beautiful and the Parks & Recreation Department, this event brings neighbors together to care for the places we all share. Whether you’re visiting for the weekend or call Ruidoso home, it’s a simple, rewarding way to give back.
All supplies are provided, and volunteers can enjoy food, giveaways, and a few well-earned prizes along the way.

Registration: Begins at 12:30 PM
Cleanup Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
What to Expect
• Gloves, safety vests, trash bags, and t-shirts provided
• Food and prize giveaways for volunteers
• A welcoming, community-focused atmosphere
Youth and service groups are encouraged to participate—fundraising opportunities are available for groups of 10 or more.
