Wingfield Park

Wingfield Park, located at 300 Center Street near the Midtown shopping district, is the Village of Ruidoso’s designated area for outdoor special events. Bring the kids. Play a round of disc golf. Enjoy a picnic, explore the botanical gardens, or host your wedding.

Features include:

Playground suitable for ages 4-12
1⁄2 mile walking trail loop
Public restrooms
Event pavilion, 50’ x 90’ seating for 200+ people
8-acre open space available for special events, weddings, festivals, reunions, craft shows, etc.
Outdoor musical instruments installation.
Keep Ruidoso Beautiful Botanical Garden (Open May 1 - Oct. 31)
Home of Wingfield Market: During the summer months Parks and Rec hosts a farmer’s market every Saturday from 9 am – 1 pm

Ice Skating Rink at Wingfield Park (Seasonal, Select Dates)

Dust off your skates! The outdoor ice rink at Wingfield Park returns for the 2024-2025 winter season. Opening day is Friday, November 29, 2024. A visitor Day Pass is $20, with a $20 season pass for Ruidoso residents. Here’s everything you need to know.
