Discover where art and nature meet during Watercolors & Winged Wonders: An Art in Nature Family Day at the Wingfield Heritage House Museum.

Special guest Greg Haussler, watercolor artist and butterfly collector, will share framed butterfly specimens alongside his original watercolors of butterflies and birds, giving families an up-close look at the colors, patterns, and forms that inspire his artwork.

Families can get creative with hands-on nature-inspired activities, including:

• Sun print art

• Symmetry watercolor butterflies

• Pressed flower art

Family Day activities take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and Haussler plans to remain at the museum until at least 2:00 PM, giving visitors additional time to see his butterfly collection and artwork.

This free event offers children and adults a playful way to explore the connections between art, observation, and the natural world.
