Experience Emmy Award-winning actor Richard Thomas in Mark Twain Tonight! at Spencer Theater. Written and originally performed by legendary actor Hal Holbrook, this celebrated one-man show brings Mark Twain’s sharp wit, humor, and enduring observations about American life to the stage.

Beloved to generations as John-Boy Walton in The Waltons and known more recently for Ozark and his acclaimed stage work, Thomas is the first and only actor authorized to perform Mark Twain Tonight! since Holbrook. The approximately 90-minute production combines laughter and insight in a theatrical portrait of one of America’s most distinctive literary voices.
