McKenzie presents The Evolution of the Colt Frontier Six Shooter and the Winchester 73—a compelling look at two of the most iconic firearms in U.S. history.

McKenzie explores how these weapons became essential tools for cowboys, settlers, lawmen, and outlaws alike, earning their reputation as “the guns that won the West.” Through rich historical context, he traces the design, use, and cultural significance of the Colt Frontier and the Winchester 73, illuminating their lasting legacy in the American frontier.

Admission to the lecture is included with regular site entry: $7 for adults and free for children 16 and under.
