IN THE PRESS: Travel TV Show YOLO TX Opens Season 2 With A Trip To Ruidoso

Discover the best of Ruidoso with YOLO TX travel TV host Aerin Carreno as she shares her Ruidoso adventures in Season 2 opener episode.

YOLO TX begins their Season 2 opener with a visit to Ruidoso. First stop is at the gorgeous Upper Canyon Lodging Company, where you can unplug and still experience rustic luxuriously. After staying in your cozy suite, it’s time to hit the slots! Head over to the Mountain of Gods Casino and experience the thriving Native American Culture. While the casino represents the simplistic life, you can always unleash your wild side and head to Ski Apache Resort. This premier New Mexico destination offers thrills regardless of what season it is.

Get ready to step back in time as YOLO TX S2 explores Ruidoso’s wild side. Just outside of Ruidoso, the Lincoln Historic Site is considered the most authentic old west town in the United States, preserved as it was in 1880. Containing what was once the most dangerous street in America, now rests gift shops and museums documenting the region’s history, including the life of infamous outlaw Billy the Kid.

To continue our voyage to the old west, we head over to Flying J. Ranch, the number one tourist attraction in New Mexico. Here, you can live, eat, dance and sing as they did in the Great American West.

Shopping and Smokey show YOLO TX S2 how to have a good time in Ruidoso! First stop brings us to Midtown Ruidoso to explore a variety of specialty shops, souvenir boutiques and art galleries. Next, Grizzly’s Bears shows us speed and style by carvin’ up some un-bear-lievable masterpieces – and in under 15 minutes no less. Of course, we had to stop for a quick drink at the Enchanted Vine by Noisy Water Winery where the wines are produced to perfection and make for the perfect gift. For the finale, we visit a world-famous icon at the Smokey Bear Historical Park.

YOLO TX S2 features what ties Texas to New Mexico; It’s bike guides and pies! Tina’s Cafe offers New Mexican cuisine that can fuel you up for any local adventure. Experience the beauty of this land with Happy Hiker who will provide everything you need to hit the terrain. Take in Mother Nature and experience the playground of the Southwest with adrenaline pumping bike trails with Ruidoso Bike Rentals or Backwoods Bike Tours. If the thrills of Ruidoso aren’t for you, complete relaxation is also an option with Sanctuary on The River. This inspired living center gives guests the opportunity to pamper the mind, body and soul.

YoloTX is a traveling show about entertainment, food and things to do across the great state of Texas [and its neighbors].
