Once again, Dec. 27, 2017, the annual Dummy Gelunde and Torchlight Parade – replete with fireworks – takes center stage on the downhill slopes of Ski Apache. This much-anticipated event begins with the Dummy Gelunde jump competition at 3 PM, with live music all day, and is set to conclude after sunset with torch-bearing skiers as they manage their way down the mountain to the cadence of Native American drums. As the end nears, a sensational spectacle of fireworks will illuminate the night sky.
